A little paint, a lot of creativity, and an AMAZING time had!

A huge thank you to all the youth who joined us for Healing Through Art and showed up ready to creatively express themselves. We ate, we painted, we got creative, and some of us even discovered a whole new skill set!

A BIG shoutout to P4H for guiding us through such a beautiful and creative experience!

At the heart of it all was wellness. Creating a space to unwind, connect, express ourselves, and simply enjoy the moment. 💙❤️

☕✨ BREWING SKILLS, BUILDING FUTURES! ✨☕
With Midaynta’s Youth Mentorship Program, our youth recently completed a hands-on Barista Training Workshop designed to build practical skills and prepare them for future employment opportunities in the cafe and hospitality industry!

The two-day training combined foundational knowledge and hands-on practice, giving participants the opportunity to learn:
☕ How to grind coffee beans and prepare espresso
🥛 How to steam and froth milk and create milk foam
🧼 Proper café cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment care
🤝 Customer service and workplace communication skills
⚙️ How to properly operate and clean café equipment
📚 Café operations and essential barista knowledge

We’re proud of our youth for showing up with enthusiasm, focus, and a willingness to learn. Each participant who completed the training received a letter recognizing their achievement👏
A special thank you to Chris Haven Brews for partnering with us and providing our youth with valuable hands-on learning and employment skills.

Plot twist: Your mental health & substance use can be connected.

Sometimes we use substances to cope with stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions. And sometimes, substance use can make things feel even harder.

💡 The key? Support should address BOTH.

No judgment. No shame. Just real support, healthier coping, and a path forward. 💙

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. 🫶
