DSC Taylor and PC Moore attended Brookview Middle School to deliver an educational presentation to Grade 7 and Grade 8 students on pantsing and the importance of respecting personal boundaries.
The presentation focused on raising awareness about the impact of this behavior, encouraging students to make positive choices, and reinforcing the importance of treating one another with dignity and respect.
Through ongoing school engagement and education, 31 Division remains committed to supporting safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments for all students.
Thank you to Brookview Middle School for welcoming us and partnering with 31 Division to help keep our youth safe.

AUTO THEFT PREVENTION TIPS
Protect Your Vehicle. Protect Your Property.
As temperatures drop and shopping activity increases, it is important to remain vigilant and take steps to protect your vehicle from theft and break-ins.
Here are some simple ways to help keep your vehicle safe:
Lock it up! Always roll up your windows, lock your doors, and take your keys with you.
Never leave your vehicle running unattended, even for a short period.
Use your garage. If you have one, park inside and lock both your garage door and your vehicle.
Keep your keys secure. Never leave your car keys in plain sight or in an easily accessible location.
Protect your documents. Keep your vehicle registration and proof of insurance with you when practical, rather than leaving them in your glove compartment.
Choose your parking spot wisely. Whenever possible, park in a well-lit, visible area.
Keep valuables out of sight. Never leave shopping bags, packages, electronics, or other valuable items visible inside your vehicle.
A few simple precautions can make a big difference! Stay alert, secure your vehicle, and help prevent auto theft and vehicle break-ins in our community.

31 Division had the pleasure of attending the Thanksgiving Pie Giveaway at Shoreham Public Sports and Wellness Academy.
It was such a heartwarming morning connecting with the students, families, and staff and sharing a little Thanksgiving joy with our community.
Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of how special our community is and how meaningful it is to come together, support one another, and give back. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this giveaway possible and for the warm welcome we received.

Congratulations to Nadine Lavia!
31 Division is proud to recognize Nadine Lavia as a recipient of the 31 Division Toronto Police Service Community Champion Award.
Nadine is a Counsellor and Family Support Worker with RCIY — Reclaiming Our Communities, Investing in Youth, a project dedicated to encouraging Black and racialized youth ages 12–29 to feel valued, empowered and supported in taking the lead in reclaiming their community.
Through her work, Nadine provides direct support to youth, families and the wider Jane-Finch community, responding to the unique needs of those she serves.
Her impact can be seen in so many meaningful ways — from providing lunches to students so they can stay focused in school, to arranging barber services that help community members feel confident, to organizing clothing pop-ups that provide professional attire for those preparing to enter the workforce.
Nadine also helps create opportunities for youth through employment initiatives that connect young people with job opportunities and help them build strong resumes and the skills needed to set themselves up for success.
What makes Nadine truly special is her genuine commitment to helping others. She gives so much of herself to the community without expecting anything in return.
31 Division is truly blessed to work alongside community champions like Nadine, whose compassion, generosity and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many people.
Congratulations, Nadine, and thank you for everything you do for our youth, families and community!

Coffee with a Cop
31 Division had the pleasure of joining community members at Tim Hortons at 4211 Keele Street for our Coffee with a Cop event.
It was great to sit down, share a coffee, and have some genuine conversations with people in the community. We always appreciate these opportunities to listen, connect, and get to know the people we serve beyond our day-to-day interactions.
