The Queen's University Liberal Association (QULA) is made up of Queen's students who hold a variety of beliefs that are grounded in liberalism. Liberalism unites QULA in promoting the Ontario Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada. QULA draws strength through the diversity of its membership, common ground in provincial harmony and national unity, and prosperity through balance and justice.

This summer, QULA members had the opportunity to gain meaningful experience across public policy, government, non-profit initiatives, and research. Whether through internships in provincial and federal politics, involvement in community leadership, or contributions to academic and policy-driven projects, our members deepened their understanding of political processes and developed valuable skills in analysis, communication, and advocacy.
As we return to campus this fall, QULA is excited to build on these experiences by fostering thoughtful dialogue, engaging students in political life, and creating opportunities for leadership at the provincial and federal level. The knowledge and perspectives gained over the summer will directly inform our work this year, strengthening our mission to connect Queen’s students with politics beyond the classroom.
