Ontario shared emergency care improvements at this year’s Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference:

✅ more than $1 billion invested in the annual Land Ambulance Services Grant (9% more funding than 2025)

✅ over $33 million invested in the Dedicated Offload Nurses Program so that more nurses and other health-care professionals can be hired to transfer ambulance patients to hospital care in a timely manner

These investments mean paramedics can return to communities faster and families can have better access to emergency and ambulance services.

In 2025/26, Ornge's Rotor Wing Aircraft performed over 4,000 Total Patient Transport Legs.
