Model Railroad Club of Toronto The Model Railroad Club of Toronto was formed in 1938. Building an O scale (1:48) model railroad depicting the Canadian railway scene c.1959.

Members build, maintain and operate the O scale Central Ontario Railway, one of Canada's largest permanent model railroads. Club was founded in 1938 and has had four locations, having moved recently from its long time home in Liberty Village to friendly East York.

This bridge has stood the test of time. It's one of the first things you see on entering the Model Railroad Club of Toronto. Legend has it the thrifty Erv Coleman constructed it from coffee cans in the '40s. I wonder what brand of coffee that was?? 🤔

Our friend Russ Milland, Toronto Railway Historical Association founding member, director and chief systems officer, has died at the age of 80. We miss him terribly. We will be sharing more about Russ’s life in the days to come.
