The OCAD Student Union is a not-for-profit organization at OCAD University. Our office is located 23

The Student Union (SU) is a not-for-profit corporation funded by student fees. The Executive manages the business of the corporation on behalf of the student members, working hard to ensure that OCADSU provides as much service to students as possible. All students registered for a minimum of a half-credit course are members of the SU. Each student member has free access to SU services, has the rig

ht to get involved in SU governance, and is eligible to be elected to the SU Executive or Board of Directors. Students are welcome to participate in SU-run projects and the decision-making process at large. Throughout the year, the SU holds numerous meetings and strongly encourages all students to attend.

It’s Your Time To Vote 🗳️

From now until April 17th at 5:00PM, you decide who leads your Student Union.

Note from your CRO:

➡️ Ballots may take some time to arrive in everyone’s inbox. If you don’t see yours right at 9:00AM, don’t panic. Give it a little time and check again. Every
eligible voter will receive their ballot in their OCAD Student email.

➡️ Please contact [email protected], if you have not received your ballot by 12PM on April 14.

➡️ If you are a Mature, Part Time, or Graduate student, you may receive more than one email.

This election is not just about filling positions. It is about what we are willing to defend.

Bill 33 threatens:
• The student fees that fund your food bank, health plan, and student services
• Equity pathways for Indigenous, Black, and disabled students
• Your Student Union’s ability to advocate on your behalf

In 2019, we challenged the Ford government’s Student Choice Initiative in court. That fight continues. The leaders we elect today will be on the front lines of that fight.

So vote. Not because you have to. Because your voice belongs in this fight.
