We've been very busy rolling out the physical campaign the past few weeks and have not posted anything to this page in some time. A new study released showed that 20 out of 40 "students" had changes to their brain patterns with only mild use of ma*****na.

This study is being widely reported, including in Canada as evidence that ma*****na use, even moderate, is bad for you.

The same can be said for chocolate, caffeine, nicoteine, and most certainly alcohol. All these legal substances also affect brain function to some degree, yet are all legal. The answer is clear, we must add all these items to the list of controlled substances and make them illegal, then spend hundreds of millions of dollars making sure people who consume them, are punished.

A small study of casual ma*****na smokers has turned up evidence of changes in the brain, a possible sign of trouble ahead, researchers say.

We had previously posted this article about the court injuction for medical ma*****na patients, it was removed by accident. This is good news for patients and their families.

The decision represents a blow to the Conservative government's attempt to overhaul Canada's medical ma*****na laws.

Last week, the government announced through Health Canada that it would criminalize medical ma*****na patients who do not destroy their medicine by April 30th. In the Globe piece, our comments are made in condemning this action.
