📣 Now open: Request your provincial delegations for ROMA 2027!

The ROMA Conference is an opportunity to bring your community’s priorities directly to provincial decision-makers. Municipal councils can request meetings with provincial Ministers, Parliamentary Assistants and senior government officials to discuss local issues and priorities. Deadline to submit is November 20 at 5PM. Please note only registered ROMA Conference delegates are eligible to participate.

Mac Bain was a tireless advocate for Northern Ontario and the rural and smaller communities that are so important to our province. Through his leadership at FONOM, he worked to ensure these communities had a strong voice on the issues that matter to them. His commitment to municipal government and to the people who serve their communities leaves a meaningful legacy. On behalf of ROMA, I extend sincere condolences to Mac’s family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. He will be greatly missed.

ROMA advocacy is leading to real impact.

The CRTC has announced a new approach to mapping and reporting cellular coverage, directly addressing ROMA recommendations from a letter earlier this year.

This will help Ontarians better understand where cellphone coverage is available and where there may be gaps, helping to support investment where is it needed.
