Your TRWC has been very active in the last year in raising awareness about our community and our committee.We have participated in the December 6th Vigil at Philosophers Walk speaking out against violence toward women, we have raised funds that were donated to the YWCA for the "Adopt a Family" program and for the YWCA December 6th fund (a fund to assist women to move out of situations that are dan

gerous for them), we have promoted the "Warm Hands Warm Heart" campaign which collected warm clothing, toques, mitts and scarves for the ‘Sistering Organization’ who distribute to sisters that suffer in poverty and some with Mental Health issues. We have promoted and supported the ‘Toronto Dress for Success’ program by donating several bags of work clothing for their program. We have supported the Legal Education Action Fund, have been collecting Milk Bags to send for crocheting blankets, we have donated new (donated) items to the North York Women's Shelter … and much more…
