During the 2026 Robert E.Hall legislative conference, firefighters across BC met with provincial government officials, lobbying to address firefighter health and safety.

The government of British Columbia, in partnership with the strengthened health protections for BC firefighters by adding 8 new types of cancer to the presumptive coverage list. This now provides BC firefighters with the strongest set of protections in the country.

Members of would like to thank the honourable member .morissette.mla for meeting with us and the Legislative Assembly for their continued support.
