Kootenay Workforce Development is an initiative funded by Columbia Basin Trust, to enhance and facilitate Kootenay/Boundary residents' access to skills training, and employers' access to skilled workers, with a goal of improving the region's economic outlook. Over the next 2 years, we will be working towards improved collaboration between colleges, School Districts, communities & industry; and to

increase awareness of the high demand occupations in our region through hands-on learning opportunities.
