A Quick Note to Our Rural Neighbours 🌾 🦝 .
We’ve heard a few concerns about where the wildlife we rehabilitate is released, so we’d like to clear that common question up.
We will NOT be releasing rehabilitated raccoons, fox, skunks etc. around the neighbourhood! 🤣
We understand that farmers and acreage owners have enough wildlife surprises without adding to the list!
Wildlife rehabilitation comes with regulations and protocols, and we take those responsibilities seriously. Release locations are carefully chosen based off the location the animals were originally rescued from, the species, suitable habitat, and what is appropriate for a safe and responsible release.
Our goal is to return wildlife to the wild - not relocate everyone’s future headache to the next farm over 😉.
We would like our neighbours and surrounding communities to feel comfortable coming to us with questions. If you’re wondering how rehabilitation works or have questions or concerns, please reach out directly.
We’d much rather have a conversation than have rumours running around faster than a raccoon with a stolen loaf of bread.🦝😁
We want to build trust through operating responsibly so we are a welcomed part of the community.
❤️Thanks for your support and giving us the opportunity to explain what we do.
