The FireFit Challenge brings together firefighters from all across the region to compete in one of the toughest competitions in the world, showcasing the strength, skill and dedication of the men and women who protect our communities every single day!

And we're proud to be supporting the festivities at the end of August with our very own resident knucklehead, Alex Theriault emceeing!

We can't wait to cheer on our local firefighters! Give them a follow on social media to stay up to date on everything Pictou County FireFit!

Huge shoutout to Seacrest Electric for taking the time to install the lights out front our Firehall, when a community comes together to help out it’s amazing the things that can be accomplished. When it comes to Trenton the residents always go above and beyond to lend a hand when they can! Great work and again thank you!

Last weekend the Trenton Fire Department held their annual fire banquet and with that we would like to send out a few special thank you’s.
First, we would like to thank our neighboring departments for taking part in our special night. It was great to share the evening with everyone who attended.
We are also sending out a huge thank you to Danny Macgillivray for being in attendance with us as well as members from our town council. Stephanie McKinnon, Scott Cameron, and Nicole Leblanc
We are so grateful to have had our dinner catered by NOSH. They did a wonderful job and it was enjoyed by all.
We had the pleasure of having fire fighter Chris Kelly as our MC for the evening. It was much appreciated Chris!
Members of the department were also awarded for their long term service pins with Trenton Fire Department. We had members receive years of service in pins from 5 years all the way to 20+ years.

Last but not least, we’d like to thank the families of the Fire fighters that were there Saturday night. When the tones drop at any time of the day or night, you are that ones that hold down our homes and your effort and dedication does not go unnoticed.

Chief Raymond Anderson and Deputy Chief Justin Macculloch presented 3 awards on Saturday evening.

The first award given was the Jeff Head Memorial which was presented to Captain Noel Jeffrey.

The second award was the Fred C Chislett award which was presented to captain Noel Jeffrey.

The third award that was presented was the Fire fighter of the year award and that was presented to Fire Fighter Chris Kelly!

Thank you to everyone who put their time and energy into making this night so successful. We appreciate you all!
