JUNE IS PRIDE MONTH πŸ³β€πŸŒˆ

June 1 marks the beginning of Pride Month and Pride Season, when 2SLGBTQI+ communities and allies come together to spotlight the resilience, celebrate the talent and recognize the contributions of 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

This afternoon, the City of Quinte West Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee, alongside the Mayor and Council, proudly raised the Pride flag at City Hall to officially kick off Pride Month.

Quinte West welcomes, embraces and supports all residents who are members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community.

Hydrant flushing continues this week.

πŸ“ Trenton west side of Trent River, north of CP railroad bridge, including all of Telephone Road

Flushing will be carried out daily from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Fridays.

Hydrant flushing ensures proper flows for firefighting and improves water quality by flushing pipes with fresh water. Sediment in the mains can be stirred up briefly during this process, causing dirty water. If this occurs, please run your tap until it clears.

Quinte West property owners are reminded that the second installment of the 2026 interim property tax bill is due May 28, 2026.

The City offers the following methods to pay your property tax bill:

πŸ’» Online/Telephone banking - Add "Quinte West Tax" as a payee and use your roll number as the account number. Recommended to pay by: May 26, 2026.
🏦 In-person or secure drop box - Visit the second floor of City Hall or the Frankford Municipal Office (cash, cheque, or debit), or drop a cheque in the secure 24/7 boxes.
βœ‰οΈ By mail - Send a cheque to Quinte West City Hall (7 Creswell Dr., Trenton, K8V 5R6).
