Twice already this season Willow Creek Farms Frankford, Ont. has donated their asparagus, for a total of 550lb! We are incredibly grateful to be able to offer fresh, locally-grown produce to support our community. We were also able to share with Gleaners Belleville and Peer Support to help achieve our shared goal: keeping our communities fed. Happy (belated) 65th birthday Giant Tiger! Thank you to Sacha and her team at Tiger for donating 500lb of food and $1,000 to help keep our Share Market stocked! These birthday kits provide community members with everything they need to celebrate their big days with their loved ones.

Giant Tiger continues to be a great community partner, and we appreciate everything they do to support our food bank and the Trenton community. Thank you!

A huge thank you to the Quadzillas Wheelchair Rugby for your generous donation! The team hosted their annual tournament food drive, and donated 190lb of food and $500 to support feeding families in Trenton. Thank you!

We’ve partnered with the Trenton Care & Share Food Bank to help support families in the community! 🍎

Bring a non-perishable food item during the Quinte Walleye Festival this weekend (May 2 & 3, 2026) and receive one ballot per item donated for a chance to win a prize! Donations are to be dropped off at the Quinte Walleye Festival Quinte West/Trenton Headquarters. The prize draw will take place during the awards ceremony after 4 PM on Sunday, May 3.

Donation Items Ideas Include:
✅ School Safe Snacks (Cookies, Granola Bars etc.)
✅ Pasta, Noodles or Rice
✅ Canned Fruit, Vegetables, Soup, Meat or Fish
✅ Baby Formula or Diapers
✅ Hygiene Products

Last week we got to meet Jessica. Jessica had a birthday recently, and instead of asking for gifts, she very kindly asked her social networks for food donations to support our efforts.

Jessica reached out to local businesses to assist in receiving donations outside of our operating hours and we are all so overwhelmed with the great response! 106 lbs of food was collected as of last week...AND in addition to that great news, Jessica pledged to make this an annual tradition!

Happy birthday Jessica and thank you for thinking of folks in need in our community.

During spring and summer months food donations drop off quite significantly, so having individuals and businesses step up to assist during these months helps us stretch things a little further.
