The RecPlex at 8Wing CFB Trenton is home to The Community Recreation Association.

PSP CFB Trenton promotes events and happenings at 8Wing CFB Trenton including information from Health Promotion, Military Fitness and Sports, our Messes, Recreation and our facilities: RecPlex, South Side Gym, and the RCAF Flyer's Arena. The Association provides programs and services for the military community. Many of these programs and services are also open to the general public. The RecPlex fa

cility is located just off RCAF Road on the north side of the Base. The complex has an indoor pool, a therapy or children’s pool and an outdoor pool. There is a cardio room with an enjoyable view of the indoor pools and a gymnasium. A meeting room, and or course, men's, ladies' and family change rooms complete the picture of this facility. Community Recreation staff are available to assist you with registrations, memberships and programs. The South Side Gymnasium is located on the south side of the Base on Anson Avenue. Here you will find a large gym with a hardwood sprung floor, a well-equipped cardio and weight room, three squash courts, a multi-purpose fitness studio, a cycling studio and more. The RCAF Flyer's Arena is located just off RCAF Road across from the CANEX and houses a 200 by 85 foot ice surface. There is viewing area, six dressing rooms and a lobby. We have an all ranks Mess - The Earl of Bessborough, along with an Officer's Mess, WO+Sgts Mess and Junior Ranks Messes. We also have conference and meeting facilities including Baker Island - hosting up to 90 guests.

We are excited to announce that we are in partnership with The Jays Care Foundation again this year to bring baseball programming to 8 Wing! We will be offering our RBI program again which is a grassroots program that teaches new players the fundamentals of the game, skill development, and being apart of a team.

We also are excited to offer a new program called Girls at Bat. This program aims to increase sport participation amongst girls by focusing on four key pillars: connection, courage, leadership, and love of sport. Through the program participants will work on their skills and increase their confidence playing baseball and sports in general.

This program is FREE for military families and subsidized to $75/week for civilan families thanks to support from the Jays Care Foundation. Due to the popularity of the program there is a 1 week limit on registration. If there are spaces remaining, you can sign up for a second week.

RBI: Ages 6-12 - mixed gender
Girls at Bat: Ages 6-14 - girls only
Registration: June 1 - Military. June 8 - Civilian.

Full week registration is still open for both camps. Waitlist options are available for single day and full week registration.

We’re excited to share an amazing opportunity for young athletes and families as part of MLB’s PLAYBALL Weekend!⚾🧢

Hosted by the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy, this special weekend celebrates youth baseball with FREE programming for beginner baseball players. On June 7th, participants can take part in fun and engaging activities designed to build skills and confidence on the field. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of baseball including hitting, throwing, baserunning, and more through interactive drill stations led by certified coaches.
