Anime Eats was a delicious success!🍜✨ Participants learned how to make ramen and boba tea, tested their chopstick skills, and connected with fellow anime fans.

This hands-on cooking program offered teen participants a chance to recreate an iconic dish featured in their fave anime series and learn some basic cooking skills, all the while connecting with others and exploring food culture.

Join us tomorrow at the Trenton Branch (7 Creswell Dr) from 10am– 12pm for a fun-filled PA Day activity for all ages!

Our Beaded Embroidery program earlier this month was a fantastic time to try a new hobby! Participants created beautiful textured designs to take home. Did you know we have one more May adult craft activity coming up?
✨Join us for Rhinestone Painting on Saturday, May 30 from 2pm - 4pm.✨

In this program, adults will make a one-of-a-kind painting using acrylic paints and shimmering rhinestones. You will create a colourful background with paint, then add rhinestones to highlight designs, create patterns, or add a touch of sparkle!

All supplies are provided, and you’ll leave with your own sparkling masterpiece to take home.

Join us for a lively Toddler Dance Party tomorrow, Friday May 22 at 10am where classic kids' songs are reimagined as fun techno beats, creating an energetic and exciting atmosphere for little movers. The event features glow-in-the-dark decorations and accessories.

Perfect for encouraging movement, rhythm, and social interaction, this party guarantees a memorable and glowing good time for toddlers (ages 0-4) and their families!

Friday, May 22 from 10am -11am in the Program Room at the Trenton Branch of the Quinte West Public Library (7 Creswell Dr, Trenton, ON).

Program registration changes coming! 🥳
Starting May 21, our brand new registration system will be live on the library website to browse and register for programs online.

With the new system, participants will log in using their library card number and PIN to register for programs. (Not sure what your library card number or PIN is? Please call the library at 613-394-3381 during business hours and staff will be happy to assist you.)

Here are a few features:
✔️ A colour-coded event calendar organized by program type
✔️ Event categories that match sections in our Program Guide
✔️ Easy filtering by audience or keyword
✔️ The ability to view remaining spaces in a program
✔️ Event listings that show what room programs are taking place within the library

As we transition to the new system, you may notice a few minor bumps or adjustments along the way, including our new automated email system. We appreciate your patience and understanding as staff work to make the experience as smooth as possible for everyone.
