🛺 Golf Cart & Gator Auction – Public Viewing Today & Thursday! 🛺

The District of Tumbler Ridge will auction 12 surplus Yamaha gas golf carts (2006–2008 models) and 2 John Deere Gators.

- Monday, Sept 29 – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

💲 Auction Details
- Minimum bid: $1,500 per cart, $1,000 per Gator (GST included)
- Payment due immediately (cash, debit, credit, or certified cheque)
- All carts sold as-is, where-is – no warranties

🚛 Pick-Up Info
- Purchased units must be picked up by Friday, Oct 10, 2025
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Location: Public Works Yard, 103 Becker Road

🚧 Notice of Nighttime Logging – Golf Course Road 🚧

Logging will occur on the Golf Course Road starting Wednesday evening and will last approximately two nights from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. There will be no impact on traffic as the road is already closed.

🌙 To help mitigate fire risk, this work must be completed during the cooler nighttime hours. Please be aware that noise will be generated during these operations.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the Golf Course Road.

⚠️ Golf Course Road Closure – Starting September 5 at 6:00 a.m. ⚠️

Beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, the Golf Course Road will be closed for the rest of the golf season while road improvement work takes place.

👉 To make sure everyone can still get where they need to go:

- An alternate access road has been set up along the side of the driving range and out onto Ridge Road (with access to Ridge Road via Mackenzie Way).
- Access to the campsites, golf course, and Don’s Diner will be through this alternate route.
- The Golf Course Road will be closed to all traffic (motorized and non-motorized).
- The gate at the top of the transfer station road will stay open so vehicles can use the alternate access.
- Speed restrictions will be in place on the alternate route — please respect them to keep everyone safe.
- Signage will be in place to indicate the closure and guide drivers along the alternate route.
