We’ve decided to extend our “Snap & Seek” scavenger hunt until August 23rd! 🎉

We felt we haven’t given everyone enough time to take part, so there’s still plenty of time to complete the hunt and enter for your chance to win an awesome prize! 🎁

The same rules and timing apply:

BUILD YOUR OWN MINI LONG POINT LIGHTHOUSE! 🌊

Looking for a fun way to celebrate 150 years of Long Point Lighthouse? Come get creative with us!

Join the Long Point Lighthouse Heritage Museum on August 26th for a hands-on afternoon where you’ll build your very own mini Long Point Lighthouse!

Each participant will receive a pre-selected kit containing pieces gathered from the beaches of Twillingate. Put the pieces together, get creative, and take home your own little piece of Long Point! ❤

We’re looking for help with siding repairs at the Long Point Lighthouse!

As we work to restore this important piece of Twillingate’s heritage to its former glory, we welcome proposals from local contractors interested in helping with the repairs.

If you’re a local contractor with experience in siding, exterior restoration, or heritage buildings and would like to be considered, please reach out to us for more information.

Last week, as part of our "150th Anniversary celebrations", we had the pleasure of welcoming former Lightkeeper Barry Porter to the Long Point Lighthouse Heritage Museum for an afternoon of stories, lighthouse tower climbs, and fascinating discussions about the rich history of Long Point Lighthouse.

It was a wonderful turnout! Thank you to Barry for sharing his memories and to everyone who joined us for this special event. 🌊⚓
