614 TAGGING WEEKEND - 27-29 SEPTEMBER

This weekend, you will see many cadets from 614 at stores in North/Northwest London, raising money for our squadron! If you see them, please say hello and consider making a donation. Funds raised go toward training and activities for our cadets including flying, camping trips, citizenship tours, sports days, band, and more!

Share this post to help make our weekend successful! We are proud to offer our program with no membership fees whatsoever - initiatives like tagging make that possible.

You can also make a donation to the squadron online, by visiting our website (tax receipt available): https://www.614aircadets.org/donate

Course Cadet Spotlight:

Cadet Anakha Anish from 226 Whitby RCSCC in Whitby, Ontario was spotted doing drill on the parade square.

Cadet Anish is currently at Blackdown Cadet Training Centre for the Introduction to Drill and Ceremonial course at CFB Borden.

This is Anish’s first time at a Cadet Summer Training Centre.

“It was a bit scary,” Anish says. “But it’s really fun now.”

“I really like drill.” Anish mentions. “I wanna get better at drill. I used to be kinda bad at it. I think I’ve already started to improve.”

“People are really understanding at cadets,” Anish says. “You don’t have to be perfect all the time.”

The Re-Scoped summer training model is designed to offer progressively enhanced experiences as cadets grow and mature through the program, culminating with staff cadet opportunities directly supporting youth leading youth.

Pleins Feux Sur Les Cadets

« J'aime beaucoup l'exercice militaire, » Anish dit.
