One of 450 Cadet Corps across Canada, #76 Uxbridge RCACC was founded on June 1, 1901. #76 Uxbridge RCACC was formed in June, 1901. Our organization is FREE.

Cadets has been a historical part of the Uxbridge community and is now affiliated with the Ontario Regiment (RCAC). Branch 170 Royal Canadian Legion is our official sponsor. Cadets work together by participating in activities such as orienteering, marksmanship, camping and preparing for their parades. Cadets will also take part in weekend field trips, re-enactments and summer camps. Uxbridge Cadets meet every Tuesday evening 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Trinity United Church Hall.

⚡ A PIECE OF UXBRIDGE HISTORY! 🚒

On July 24, 2026, lightning struck the Uxbridge Public Library, damaging the historic peak of its tower.

The brave volunteers of the Uxbridge Fire Department responded and now have an artifact of the historic peak of the tower. On display at the Uxbridge fire hall. Sure to be a museum piece one day.

Our cadets had the opportunity to see this remarkable piece of local history up close, learn about the damage caused by lightning, and gain a deeper appreciation for the dedicated first responders who help keep our community safe.

History, learning, and community service, all in one visit!

🚒 INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION

76 Uxbridge had the opportunity to visit our local volunteer fire station and meet some of the dedicated people who help keep our community safe.

Strong community are built with people who look beyond themselves, step up when others need help, and give their time to serve others. These are the same values we strive to instill in every cadet.👩‍🚒

🍂 THANKSGIVING WEEKEND COMMUNITY SPIRIT! 🇨🇦

Our cadets were out fundraising through tagging this Thanksgiving weekend! 🍁

Former Uxbridge Mayor Gerri Lynn O’Conner stopped by to support and encourage the team. Thank you Gerri Lynn for always being such a big supporter of the Uxbridge Army Cadets!

Thank you to everyone who donated, we are grateful to live in a community that deeply supports youth leadership, teamwork, and personal growth! ❤️

The gear and tents are all wrapped up and so are the memories of our joint unit FTX! ⛺️

These memories will stay with us for years if not the rest of our lives. We’re looking forward to our winter exercise to accumulate even more personal discovery and challenges for everyone. ❄️⛄️

🏕️ Top Junior Cadet FTX Recognition

At the end of our FTX, we recognized and awarded our Top Junior Cadet of the weekend. Congratulations, Cdt Milne of 2817 Lindsay RCACC! 🎉

So new to the program that she has yet to draw her uniform. Cdt Milne approached the FTX with enthusiasm, character, and a willingness to learn.

We train together, we pack up together. 💪

FTX’s are not just about fun and adventure. A successful exercise also means taking responsibility for everything we brought with us and leaving the area better than we found it.

Cadets worked together to pack up equipment, clean the site, and prepare everything for next year.

Responsibility means taking care of our equipment as well as respecting the environment we train in. 🌲

“Within the sleep of youth, blossoms the awakening of purpose.” 🌙

The day comes to a close and the cadets split into two groups.

For junior cadets, a full day of training is complete. It is time to rest, recharge, and reflect on what they have learned. 💤

For senior cadets, the training continues. They head into the forest for bivouac routine, reinforcing skills, and putting learning into practice. 🌲

There are somethings you can only learn under the stars, in the quiet of the forest, and alongside the people who depend on you. ⭐

As night falls, the campfire comes to life! 🔥

Cadets spend FTX night two playing games, having fun, and putting the skills they learned during the day to the test through fun competitions.

Play can be more than just fun. It is a powerful way to reinforce learning and turn new skills into memorable experiences.

Sometimes the best lessons happen when you’re having a great time learning together.

During the FTX, we keep morale and spirits high with a lineup of hot, savory meals.

Here cadets are enjoy walking tacos! 🌮 Definitely a highlight for many.

🧭 ORIENTEERING: FINDING THE WAY FORWARD

WO Arthurs takes Junior cadets through navigation skills in a fun filled morning of orienteering!

Using maps, compasses, and teamwork, cadets learn to navigate unfamiliar terrain and find checkpoints without a GPS.

It’s about more than finding your way through the woods. It’s about building confidence, problem-solving, and leadership in the field.
