“සර්ලා මැඩම්ලා මේ කරපු දේට ගොඩක් පිං 🙏 ලංකාවට ඇවිල්ල අපිව බලන්න එන්න. ඔයාල එනකල් අපි බලන් ඉන්නවා” ❤️

එහෙමයි පුංචි දුව ඉස්තුති කතාව ඉවර කරේ! Machan පුංචි හිත වල අද සතුට පිරිලා! ❤️

අපි ඉස්සර ඉස්කෝලේ යනකොට හිතුවේ ලස්සනම සපත්තු Design එක කොහෙන්ද ගන්නේ කියල. බෝට්ටු Style එකේ සපත්තු ගන්නේ කොහෙන්ද කියල. මුලින්ම ඉස්කෝලෙට යනකන් බලන් ඉන්නේ අපි අපේ අලුතෙන් ගත්ත ඉස්කෝලේ bag එක පෙනන්න. ඒ වගේම අලුත් සපතු දෙකේ මඩ ගාවන්නේ නැතුව පුළුවන් තරම් ලස්සනට තියාගන්න එක තම අපේ ලොකුම win එක ඒ දවස් වල. අලුතෙන් පොත් ගන්න ගියාම සරසවි bookshop එකට අපි තේරුවේ වැඩිම සුවද තියෙන මකනේ. පැන්සල් පෙට්ටියේ වැඩිම Button තියෙනවනන් එක තම ලොකුම සතුට. උදේට සුදු ඇදුම් මදින්නේ එක ඉරක් වත් නැති වෙන්න. සපත්තු දෙක මදිනවා එකෙන් මුණ බලන්න පුළුවන් වෙන තරමට. මතකද අපි එහෙම සැපට ඉස්සොලේ ගිය හැටි. අපිට ඒ කලේ දුකක කියල තිබ්බේ උදේට නැගිටලා School Van එකට යන එක විතර. අපිට ඒ කලේ ඉස්ස්කොලේ යනඑක හරිම luxury දෙයක්. එහෙම ඉගෙන ගද්දි අපේම වයස් වල පොඩි ළමයි දුක් විදිනවා කියල අපි දැනුනේ නෑ!

අපි එහෙමඉගෙන ගෙන CANADA ඇවිල්ල අයෙත් හැරිලා බලද්දී අපි කරලා තියෙන දේවල් මදි කියල හිතෙන්න ඕනි! එහෙම හිතෙනවනම් ඔයා තාමත් ලංකාවට patta ආදරෙයි! ❤️🇱🇰

අද මේ ලමයි සතුටින් ඉන්නේ ඔයාල නිසා, ජීවිතේ කවදාවත් සපත්තු දාපු නැති එයාලාගේ මුනට සතුට ගෙනාවේ ඔයාල. හැමදාම සෙරෙප්පු දාගෙන ඉස්කෝලේ ගල් ඇනි ඇනි පාඩම් ඉගෙන ගද්දි ඒ පුංචි හිත වලට කොචර දුකක් දැනෙන්න ඇතිද! ඒ දුක අද ඔයාල නිසා නැති වෙලා. එයාලගේ මුනේ තියෙන සතුට වැඩිවෙලා. ලෝකය ගැන දුක් වේවි හිටපු එයාලා අද ඔයාලට පිං දෙනවා. සතුට වැඩි කමට සමහරු අඩුවා. පුංචි දෙයකින් මෙචර සතුටක් ලබන්න පුළුවන් වෙයි කියල හිතුවේ නෑ නේද? ඒ තමයි පිරිසිදු පුංචි හිත වල හැටි.
හවස තමයි උත්සවය තිබ්බේ ඒ වෙලාවේ එහා වැවට අලි එනාව කියල අලි වෙඩි ගහල උන්ව පන්නල තමයි මෙහ උත්සවේ කරේ.

අපි ඉන්න luxury ජීවිතෙන් පහල ලොකු අපි නොදැක්ක ලෝකයක් තියෙනවා. අපේ රටේ පුංචි උන් ලොකු තැන වලට ගිහින් අපේ රට ගොඩ දන්නා ඕනි එක තමයි අපේ VanCity Lankans community එකේ එකම පැතුම. ❤️🙏

There’s so much beauty in the day’s end too!

It’s true that you have worked so hard in reaching this dream. The dream of living a life that you will remember for years to come. The dream of living a life not for others but for yourself.
It’s amazing how you wake up everyday and work so hard to reach that goal. I know how tired it can get… but still you keep pushing your limits to make it happen for you and for your family.

Day and night.
Countless sleepless nights.
Away from your loved ones, the most cherished ones….

Sometimes things might not go your way. Sometimes it may seem like everything is falling apart.
You might feel like giving it all up and going back to your old life.…

Just when those feelings start to hit your core, think about the day’s end.
Look how peacefully this day is coming to an end.
With everything you have achieved or failed to achieve this day, it cannot get better than this.

Next day is going to be far brighter and better. So chin up and keep going forward.

But always remember that there’s so much beauty and magic in the day’s end too!

Origin of the bistro ♨️☕️

The word “Bistro” has become very popular in recent years and is used to refer to certain type of restaurants. But people actually know its origins and history.

Origins

The bistro was born in France during the XX century. These restaurants were small places that had very limited menu options that could change on a daily basis. The owners used to display the menus on blackboards and the food was quite inexpensive.

The word “bistro” comes from the term “bwystra”, which means fast in Russian. When the Russian army invaded France, during the Napoleonic war, they used to shout “Bwystra!” to the owners or waiters, demanding a faster service because they needed to get back on the road. Over time, the owners coined the term to refer to their restaurants as a place with fast and efficient service.

Bistro was originally conceived as French slang that referred to a little cafe or wine shop. This slang term was co-opted by the French from Russian invaders during the 1814

At first, these restaurants had a defined culinary proposal; They offered fast service and traditional dishes elaborated with fresh ingredients. However, this trend is no longer limited to its native country and has expanded all over the world, evolving to adapt to global trends and current life style.

Bistro gourmet

Nowadays, a bistro restaurant is an establishment where you can order gourmet food, without the formalities of an elegant restaurant, but with the guarantee of freshness and healthy elements. Identyfied by their size, bistros are small to maintain a high quality and friendly environment. These singularities have made the bistro concept so popular, as it offers the opportunity for a delicious gastronomic experience in a casual atmosphere, with fast service at an affordable price

Remembrance Day 2022 - We shall not forget

Remembrance Day was first observed in 1919 throughout the British Commonwealth. It was originally called “Armistice Day” to commemorate armistice agreement that ended the First World War on Monday, November 11, 1918, at 11 a.m.—on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a moment of silence to honour and remember the men and women who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace.

What does the poppy flower mean to the military?

The poppy flower is a symbol of remembrance and pride for the military. The poppy flower is often associated with the red poppy that was worn by soldiers during World War I. It is also a symbol of peace in many cultures. The red poppy has been used as a symbol of remembrance for veterans, active duty military, and those who have lost loved ones to war.

By remembering, we pay tribute to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP who served to defend our values and freedoms. We also honour those who continue to serve the country today.
