We’re on the move 🚚

Our Kingsway location at 1193 Kingsway will close after Friday, August 28 as we relocate to our new home at 157 E 36th Avenue.

There will be no programs or services from August 29–September 7 while we make the move.

We plan to reopen and resume most programs and services on Tuesday, September 8.

This week, we’re taking a closer look at the new childcare spaces coming to our new House! With 89 childcare spaces for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, our expanded childcare centre will help meet one of the community’s most pressing needs: access to quality, affordable childcare.

And because it’s part of our neighbourhood house, families will have access to so much more—all under one roof. From drop-in early years programs and parenting support to counselling, art therapy, food programs, and settlement services, our new House will be a place where families can find support, connection, and community.

A bigger House, more opportunities, and more room for families to grow together.

Last week, we had a media event celebrating the completion of our new building alongside the City of Vancouver, Holborn Properties, S.U.C.C.E.S.S., Artist Susan Point and other project partners.

This marks an exciting step forward as we prepare to open our doors this fall. Our new home will bring together affordable housing, a 69-space childcare centre , expanded community programs, a community kitchen, and welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn, and thrive.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this vision a reality. Together, we're creating more than a building—we're creating a place where Everyone Belongs. 💚
