The UEL is the only urban area in the Province of BC without a local government or Mayor - it has been run by the Provincial Government for the past 100 years. Just to advise you UBC is planning yet another building on the boarder of the single family free hold community and our multi-family, affordable, walkable human scale neighbourhood of the UEL. Pressing us to do the same. UBC’s desire to build endowment fund ought not to destroy a community. If you are opposed please write your letters.
