Persian Gulf Foundation & Tabestoon Festival are delighted to collaborate with Calgary Cinematheque for "A Special Tribute to Abbas Kiarostami", on Thursday March 9th in the Globe Cinema.
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ahmad Kiarostami will be joining the audience through Skype for this session and then the session will be followed by screening of the duo of Abbas Kiarostami short film, Take Me Home, and Seifollah Samadian's documentary, 76 Minutes and 15 Seconds with Abbas Kiarostami.

Cinema lost one of its greatest voices in 2016 when master director Abbas Kiarostami suddenly passed away. In a special tribute to his legacy, the Calgary Cinematheque is showing the beautiful short film TAKE ME HOME, the last work that Kiarostami completed. Following the short film is the lovely documentary 76 MINUTES AND 15 SECONDS WITH ABBAS KIAROSTAMI directed by Kiarostami’s long time collaborator, Seifollah Samadian, who worked as a cinematographer with Kiarostami for over 25 years. http://bit.ly/2m9zSoV
