Throughout this campaign, our community came together around one shared commitment: to make sure no one goes hungry. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we achieved something truly remarkable together:
• 💰 Over $100,000+ RAISED
• 🍏 70,000+ LBS OF FOOD COLLECTED
• 👥 1,600+ PEOPLE SUPPORTED

Because you chose to give, children will begin their mornings with a healthy breakfast, families will have fresh groceries on their tables, and seniors and people living with disabilities will continue to receive nutritious kosher meals.

What does this support look like in real life? A client recently shared with us:

“JFS has been a godsend while I face constant health and food challenges. Because of my diabetes, life has become more expensive, and your support directly helped me get the specific food I needed. Please know that every bit helps at this difficult time in my life. You are greatly appreciated.” 🕊️

Looking for a fun, creative way to spend your afternoon? Join us for an exciting, hands-on Candle Making Workshop!

Whether you want to make a cozy addition to your home or craft a beautiful, handmade gift for someone special, this workshop is the perfect place to start.

You will learn the basics of pouring candles, choosing scents, and creating your own beautiful creations from scratch.

📅 When: Thursday, October 29 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

36,000 POUNDS OF FOOD! 🚜🥬

For 6 years, Stable Harvest Farm has helped us keep our community nourished. This summer, their donation filled our food security programs with fresh produce—from potatoes, onions, and garlic to tomatoes, kale, sweet corn, and melons.

Beyond the harvest, they foster meaningful social connections for our seniors right on the farm and run incredible educational programs that show our community where real food comes from.

Every child deserves the opportunity to bloom at summer camp. 🌿

That belief is at the heart of our Veggie Voyagers Program! From digging into garden soil and exploring nature to playing, creating, and laughing together, our camp was filled with unforgettable moments.

Our favourite highlights? Hands-on field trips to VanDusen Botanical Garden and Stable Harvest Farm, where campers got to see firsthand where real food comes from! 🥕🌻
