Full-time House Coordinator Needed
Full-time position available for a cook/house coordinator at Abbeyfield Houses of Vancouver, a small non-profit independent seniors' residence in Marpole, Vancouver BC. Five days per week, hours 9:00 or 9:30 AM to 6:30PM; one-hour break after 1:00PM. Starting wage: $16/hour.
Duties include: preparation of lunch and dinner each day, menu planning, online food shopping [in conjunction with a co-worker] and light housekeeping.
Must be an experienced cook, with effective communication skills. Must enjoy working with seniors and be proactive regarding house operations and upkeep.
Reports to Board of Directors. Non-smoker preferred. Days off either Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday.
Food Safe required, CPR/First Aid an asset.
