From campus to Parliament Hill 🇨🇦

This week, the UBC Young Liberals were some of the summer interns in Ottawa that met with BC MPs and Ministers on Parliament Hill. Through the Summer Leadership Program, we are gaining hands-on experience, making connections, and building skills in the public service.

Throughout the year, UBC YLC goes from volunteering in local campaigns to staffing the Prime Minister, Cabinet, and MPs. We aren’t just tomorrow’s leaders in BC, we’re stepping up nationally, today.

From campus to Parliament Hill 🇨🇦

This week, the UBC Young Liberals were some of many BC summer interns in Ottawa connecting with MPs and Ministers on Parliament Hill. Through the Summer Leadership Program, we are gaining hands-on experience, making connections, and building skills in the public service.

UBC YLC goes from volunteering in local campaigns to staffing the Prime Minister, Cabinet, and MPs, because we aren’t just tomorrow’s leaders in BC, we’re stepping up nationally now.

This past week, the UBC Young Liberals had the exciting opportunity to attend the 2026 Liberal Party Convention in Montréal. We enjoyed meeting amazing Liberals from across the country and voting on significant policies for Canada!

Special thank you to those who donated to help send as many UBC YLC members to convention as possible. This trip couldn’t have happened without you, and kindness like yours is what makes Canada special.
