Folks will learn more about indicators of health, management, diabetes-friendly recipes, and other resources. Folks living with diabetes and those supporting others who live with diabetes are invited to attend.

Happening from 7-9am every Saturday at CNH, our Morning Star program allows folks to share a free, hot nutritious breakfast and access information and support in housing, advocacy, healthcare, and counselling. Participants also have access to showers and clothing (subject to availability). RISE Community Health Centre is also present on-site for immediate help or direction to proper care.

A reminder that we are offering a Community Support Circle on Thursday, September 3, from 6:30-8:00pm. at our Multipurpose Room at 5288 Joyce Street as a follow-up to the recent tragic loss of a young person in our community.

This facilitated support circle will provide a safe and caring space for community members to come together, acknowledge this loss, share experiences, and support one another during this difficult time. Everyone is more than welcome to attend.
