The faces behind the Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre! ✨

A few of our board members gathered yesterday for a social meetup to connect, eat, and recharge. We missed the rest of our team, but we loved having this time to bond and talk about our goals for the neighbourhood. 🌿

Today, our team at the hosted another wonderful event! We hit the pavement with our amazing local seniors and neighbours to get some fresh air, share some laughs, and catch up on everything happening in our vibrant neighbourhood.

After a beautiful stroll, we wrapped up the morning and were treated by Franco to a warm beverage at Renzullo Food Market Keeping our seniors connected and active is at the heart of what we do.

A massive thank you to Franco and everyone who laced up their sneakers and joined us today! Want to join the next walk or learn more about our senior outreach programs? Join us on Wednesday, rain or shine, at 10am or send us a DM! πŸ’™

Beating the heat and building a safer community! β˜€οΈπŸ¦

We set up shop outside the Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre today to connect with our amazing neighbours. With the hot weather rolling in, we gave away dozens of ice cream sandwiches and freezies to help everyone cool down and yes, we had treats for our favorite furry neighborhood pets too! 🐢
But it wasn’t just about the treats. We had a blast passing out:

✨ Reflectors & stickers for visibility
πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ Information on our Promoting Walking Grandview initiative
πŸ“‹ Crucial crime prevention documents to keep our streets safe
πŸŽ‰ Custom buttons & tons of meaningful conversations!

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to chat, ask questions, or just grab a sweet treat. Working together is how we keep GW safe, vibrant, and connected.
Missed us this time? Drop by the CPC anytime to grab resources, or just say hello! πŸ‘‹
