On May 20, members of the Lower Mainland Adult Day Centre Association came together at ASK Centre to discuss some of the most pressing issues impacting older adults, caregivers, and community support services across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for organizations to share ideas, challenges, and solutions related to seniors’ wellness, caregiver support, accessibility, social connection, transportation, and the growing demand for community-based programs that help older adults remain active, engaged, and connected.
As the needs of our aging population continue to grow, collaboration between adult day centres and community partners is more important than ever. Together, we are working to strengthen supports for seniors and caregivers while advocating for inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable services throughout our communities.
Thank you to everyone who participated in these meaningful conversations and for your continued dedication to improving the lives of older adults and caregivers across the region.
