Thinking about a safari in 2027/2028? it might feel like you have time but the earlier you book, the more choice you have 🐘

We’re already running into availability challenges for 2027—and waiting can mean missing out on the camp, room or location that best suits your trip.

Many of the intimate properties we love have only a handful of rooms. Family tents and space for groups are even more limited. Once those fill, one unavailable property can mean adjusting your dates, changing your route or spending longer travelling between stops.

Booking early gives us more choice to secure the right camps, in the right locations, and connect them into a journey that flows.

This matters especially if you’re travelling during peak seasons, have fixed dates or want several rooms together.

You come for the wildlife, but somewhere along the way it becomes about connection, to the land, to the people and to yourself.

For a little while, everything else gets quiet. You’re simply there, completely present.

Take your kids on safari.

Let them get dusty. Let them wake up before sunrise. Let them learn about tracks, animals, conservation
 and occasionally witness a few things you weren’t quite prepared to explain. 😂🩁

We’ve taken our own kids on safari, and some of our favourite memories have been watching them experience it all for the first time. Seeing the animals up close, watching their curiosity peak and watching them understand and view the world from a new perspective it’s priceless.

Africa is a pretty incredible classroom 🌍

And trust us, they’ll remember this trip, they won’t stop talking about this trip and they’ll want to keep coming back.

A great safari isn’t built from a template 🌍

Sosian is one of them.

Set on a vast private conservancy in Laikipia, it offers a completely different side of Kenya, wild, remote and beautifully uncrowded. It’s the kind of place where the experience goes far beyond the traditional game drive, and every day can look a little different.
