We need your help! Vancouver’s most vulnerable community members are facing food insecurity every day — and many don’t have access to kitchen facilities or even basic kitchenware. PHS’s Vancouver Food Program helps fill that gap by preparing and delivering 3,900+ meals daily, including 2,000+ hot meals for our supportive housing and shelter residents, program participants, and community members experiencing food insecurity.

We’re raising $30,000 to help renovate and expand our food production capacity so we can keep meals flowing safely and reliably — and reach more people who need them most.

This Mother’s Day, we honour the strength of mothers, grandmothers, and aunties, who advocate for their children and our loved ones affected by substance use and mental illness. Many continue this work while walking through deep grief. Some have lost children they loved fiercely. And still, they advocate — for better care, for dignity, for change. We respectfully honour mother's for their courage and persistence.

Thank you for fighting for better healthcare supports.

Thank you for turning love into action.

A huge thank you to Forerunners! 👟💚

A specialty running store in Vancouver, Forerunners has been collecting gently used running shoes and regularly donating them to PHS — and these shoes go directly to some of the most vulnerable people in our community. From shelter guests to supportive housing residents to community members who come to our reception windows looking for help, these donations make an immediate, meaningful difference.

A good pair of shoes means comfort, mobility, dignity, and a bit of relief in someone’s day.
