A woman was discovered deceased at a waste disposal facility in Central Saanich on October 13, 2026.

Her identity remains unknown.

Police are asking for the public's help.

DESCRIPTION: • Possibly in her 30s • Approximately 5'9", heavy-set build • Brown hair with blonde highlights • Horizontal scar on her inner right forearm

That scar could be the detail that helps someone recognize her.

TAETM LUCAS MOON, 28 Missing since May 27, 2026.

❤️ More than four months without contact with his family.

Taetm's mother has reached out to The Vanished Project again, hoping renewed awareness will help locate her son.

🔎 NEW INFORMATION:

Taetm was reportedly last seen at a dollar store in Surrey, BC.

His family believes he may have travelled by transit toward North Vancouver, possibly continuing toward Squamish or Pemberton to camp.

This route remains unconfirmed.

Taetm is 5'11", approximately 175 lbs, with dark brown hair and eyes. His facial hair may be longer than shown.

His disappearance is completely out of character.

Jadyn, also known as “Hiru,” travelled from Surrey to the Kamloops area in September.

His family last saw him near Riverside Park on September 18, 2026, with their last contact occurring September 24.

He remains the subject of a missing-person appeal by Kamloops RCMP.

More than 32,000 people experienced homelessness across British Columbia in 2024.

In Metro Vancouver alone, 5,232 people were counted as experiencing homelessness in 2025.

Now imagine something different.

We have received encouraging information that telephone contact has reportedly been made with Vanetta.

While this is a positive development, her current whereabouts and wellbeing have not been confirmed, and efforts to establish direct, in-person contact continue.

The Vanished Project remains actively involved, working with Vanetta's family and our frontline network to help reconnect her with the people and supports who care about her.

The Vanished Project Society is asking for the public's assistance in locating Vanetta Billy, a First Nations woman whose family is concerned about her well-being.

According to information provided by a family friend, Vanetta's mother has not heard from her in approximately six months. Their last contact is believed to have been around April 2026.

Vanetta is known to frequent the Franklin Street / Astoria area of Vancouver.

Her mother was accustomed to hearing from her regularly, making this extended lack of communication particularly concerning.

We are asking residents, frontline workers, shelters, outreach teams, and anyone familiar with Vancouver's Downtown Eastside to help us establish whether Vanetta has been seen recently.

❤️ Vanetta, if you see this, your family is worried about you and would love to know you're okay.

SELINA VIOLET WALLACE Missing since February 7, 1971 Cape Mudge, Quadra Island, BC

The Vanished Project Society is renewing public awareness of Selina Violet Wallace's disappearance, more than 55 years after she was last seen.

Selina was just 19 years old when she disappeared from her community. She is a member of the We Wai Kai First Nation.

Why are we sharing her story today?

Because missing-person cases do not become less important with time.

As our frontline network and public reach continue to grow across British Columbia, we believe that older, unresolved disappearances deserve renewed attention alongside newly reported cases.

Someone seeing this appeal today may remember something that was never reported.

We are not reporting a new disappearance or claiming a new investigative development. We are helping keep an unresolved case visible.
