Ingrédients

2 pommes Granny Smith avec la pelure, le cœur enlevé, coupées en gros cubes
375 ml (1 ½ tasse) de mangue surgelée en cubes (non décongelée)
250 ml (1 tasse) de bébés épinards
125 ml (½ tasse) de yogourt grec nature
250 ml (1 tasse) de jus de pomme pur
180 ml (¾ tasse) d’eau
250 ml (1 tasse) de glaçons (facultatif)

Préparation

À l’aide du mélangeur électrique (blender), réduire en purée lisse tous les ingrédients sauf les glaçons. Si désiré, ajouter les glaçons et mélanger.
Verser dans des grands verres ou des tasses isolantes de type Thermos.
Se conserve 2 jours au réfrigérateur. Remuer avant de servir.

Note

Versez vos surplus de smoothies dans des contenants à sucettes glacées et vous obtiendrez des pops fruités qui feront fureur à la collation.

A special shout out goes to the Squamish valley music festival who offered a FREE bike valet to anyone heading down to the festival grounds. This was a great success and really lowered the congestion of traffic in the area. Not to mention much more people were not tempted to drink and drive.....a motor vehicle that is.

Velib' bike stations are located on public streets in many parts of Paris. After registering to use the system and paying a small fee, you can borrow a bicycle from any station and return it to any other station with a vacant bike holder.

The Velib' (veh-LEEB) system is meant to supplement other methods of public transport in Paris by making it easy for people to move around the city under their own power for short trips rather than by taking the Métro, city bus, taxi, or private car, or having to walk.

Velib' is not a bicycle-rental system. Rather, it is a supplemental public-transport system. For short trips (30 minutes or less), it is virtually free. As trips get longer, it gets more expensive. Keeping a bike to yourself all day is quite expensive.

As I said, it's not meant to be a bike rental system.

The goal is to keep as many bikes as possible available to as many people as possible, so they can use them for public transport, not for cruising or bicycle touring.

THIS IS A SYSTEM WE NEED IN EVERY MAJOR CITY IN THE WORLD !!

One of my personal favourite rides is Stanley Park in Vancouver BC it can be difficult to cover all the ground in Stanley Park in one afternoon, as this sprawling urban sanctuary is packed with historic landmarks, upscale and casual restaurants, scenic gardens and Canada’s largest aquarium. Ride the 10-kilometre paved trail along the Stanley Park seawall, which circles the entire park and promises plenty of spectacular sightseeing. Or speed things up and cruise the bike trails through the park, where you can coast by the rose garden, the Vancouver rowing club and Lost Lake Lagoon.
