I recently took Brent Chapman, MLA for Surrey South and husband of BC Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay, into the heart of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

We spoke with residents, frontline workers, police officers, and people struggling with addiction about what they believe is working—and what isn't.

Sometimes the best waydto understand a crisis is to see it firsthand.

🚨 MERRITT, BC 🚨
I toured a 40-bed shelter that receives approximately $1.9 million per year in BC Housing funding and spoke with residents, homeless individuals, and community members.
Several people claim they've seen newcomers arriving from outside Merritt, including Vancouver. I also documented open drug use on the shelter property.
Are people being moved across BC, or is there another explanation?

Should I step into Vancouver city politics?

I recently spent days inside Vancouver General Hospital after becoming seriously ill.

While recovering in the emergency department, I came across a flyer offering a $340 cash stipend for people willing to participate in a medical cannabis driving simulator study.

Yes… inside a BC hospital.

You can’t make this up.
