For Stelina, caregiving is about getting to know each person and finding ways to make their day feel a little easier, brighter, and more comfortable.

What motivates her is knowing that thoughtful, dependable care can make a meaningful difference in someone’s quality of life. Whether through a helping hand, a familiar routine, or simply being there when someone needs support, Stelina values the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients.

Outside of work, Stelina enjoys spending time with her family and discovering new places. 💜

Thanksgiving is a meaningful reminder to slow down and appreciate the people who make a difference in our lives.

For us, that means our incredible team, the clients and families who place their trust in us, and the community partners and friends who continue to support the work we do.

Opulife was proud to come out and support this year’s Strides for Seniors! 💜

Together, the community raised an incredible net $392,000 in support of CIBPA PLACE, York Region’s first dementia respite care centre.

CIBPA PLACE provides an important resource for our community, offering individuals living with dementia a safe and supportive environment while giving their families and caregivers much-needed respite and peace of mind.

Our own Selena was proud to serve on the event committee, while Ben and our very own Rosie 🐶🐾 joined in to volunteer and support the day.

Congratulations to everyone who made Strides for Seniors 2026 such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💜

What a wonderful evening at A Night in Athens, the Fourth Annual Bridges of Love of York Region Gala! 💜

Opulife was proud to once again support this special evening in support of vulnerable seniors across York Region.

Bridges of Love is a 100% volunteer-run charity helping seniors facing isolation, financial hardship, health challenges, and barriers to essential support. Through wellness programs, food assistance, social connection, outreach, accessibility support, and more, their team helps seniors age with dignity, safety, and connection.

It’s a mission that closely aligns with what we believe at Opulife, and we’re especially proud that our very own Co-Founder and Lead Nurse, Selena Paglia, RN, serves on the Bridges of Love Board of Directors.

Congratulations to the entire Bridges of Love team on another beautiful evening and for the meaningful work you continue to do in our community. 💜

✨ Caregiver Spotlight: Meet Mina! 💜

For Mina, being a Personal Support Worker is about the genuine connections she builds with the people she cares for. She finds a deep sense of purpose in helping others feel valued, supported, and reminded of just how meaningful their lives are.

“What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the deep bond I build, the profound sense of purpose, and the genuine human connection that comes from providing care each day.”

What motivates Mina most is seeing her clients continue to live meaningful and fulfilling lives, even when they may be facing illness or other challenges. She wants every person she supports to know that they are important and deserving of compassion, dignity, and respect.

For families, Mina hopes her presence brings a sense of relief and reassurance, knowing their loved one is with someone who genuinely cares.

Outside of work, Mina enjoys cooking and watching movies. 🍳🎬

Her personal motto is a reminder that new beginnings can lead to something even better:
