Walter picked up a certificate this week marking 75 blood donations with Canadian Blood Services , a milestone that's taken years of regular visits to reach. Thank you, Walter, for sticking with it donation after donation.

Summer days in the Okanagan are meant for getting outside. CaLe spent the afternoon over at Orchards taking in the summer weather, visiting the farm animals, and exploring the grounds.

Since 1955, being a local non-profit has meant supporting people in Vernon through housing, employment, and community programs; currently supporting more than 200 participants across 19 programs.

On National Nonprofit Day, we want to share a big thank you to the local businesses, employers, and community partners across Vernon who work alongside Venture Living every day to make that possible.

If you've seen "ACT" mentioned in our posts and wondered what it stands for, it’s Awareness, Challenge, Thinking!
The ACT program is all about practical, everyday learning in a social group setting. Each week mixes hands-on art projects with real-world literacy and basic math skills. Groups also spend time using technology like iPads, computers, and digital cameras, along with staying up to date on local news and current events.
