Vernon Professional Firefighters would like to remind everyone that advance voting has begun at the Schubert Centre!
As our community heads to the polls, we hope public safety is top of mind for voters and for Vernon’s next Mayor and Council.
We fully support Vernon Fire Rescue’s Strategic Plan and believe its continued implementation is important to the safety of our growing community.

Today, our members were proud to support Watkin Motors Ford and the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive!

A big thank you to our duty crew for coming out to support the cause, and to our off-duty members who took the time to shop and help fill the shelves with over $1500 in essentials!

We had a great time firing up the grill at the Vernon Vipers game in support of our Charitable Society !

A huge thank you to for generously letting us borrow the BBQ and helping make the night possible. We really appreciate the support!

Today, members of Vernon Firefighters Local 1517 climbed the stairs in full turnout gear in remembrance of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Each step honours their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to others.
