ELECTION OFFICIALS NEEDED
VOTING OFFICERS IN VICTORIA BEACH AND WINNIPEG
Voting officers to staff polls will be needed if the municipal election is held.
We are recruiting now and will confirm with interested individuals by June 22. All voting officials must participate in a two-hour training session. Polls must be open from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and workers would be present 30 minutes in advance and must stay on site until assigned duties are completed.
TRAINING:
$50 for a 2-hour session, one session for all workers.
Wednesday July 8: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon.
To be held at the RMVB office, 2035 Portage Avenue AND East Beaches Social Scene
ADVANCED VOTING DAYS:
$275/day. No vote counting required. Expect to work 7:30 am-8:30 pm.
Thursday, July 16: RMVB Office Winnipeg. Two poll clerks required.
Saturday, July 18: East Beaches Social Scene. Four poll clerks required.
(Note that the Summer Winds Festival is on at the Beaches CC that weekend)
ELECTION DAY:
$350/day. Vote counting required. Expect to work 7:30 am- 10:30 pm.
Friday, July 24: RMVB Office Winnipeg. Three poll clerks required
Friday July 24: Beaches Community Centre. Nine poll clerks required.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO COMMITT TO WORKING BOTH ADVANCED AND ELECTION DAY.
ASSIGNMENTS BASED ON PROXIMITY TO POLL LOCATIONS.
