When you're enjoying Victoria Beach's trails, please remember: whatever you bring in with you should come back out with you.

Garbage and discarded materials don't belong along our trails — and some items can also create an unnecessary fire risk.

A few simple habits can help protect our community:

🔥 Never discard cigarette butts or matches along a trail.
🗑️ Take all garbage and belongings with you when you leave.
🌲 Don't leave anything behind that could add fuel to a fire.
🚫 Never leave hot, burning or smouldering materials behind.
👀 If you see smoke or fire, report it immediately.

Our trails run through heavily vegetated areas where fire can spread quickly under the right conditions.

Enjoy the trail. Leave nothing behind. Help keep Victoria Beach wildfire safe.

Doc Online by Medigroup Health Services is a virtual walk-in clinic available to Manitobans, providing access to licensed Manitoba doctors for non-emergency health concerns by video or phone.

🎒 Do You Have a 72-Hour Emergency Kit?

Emergencies can happen without warning. Power outages, severe storms, wildfires, and other emergencies may mean you need to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours.

A basic emergency kit should include:
💧 Water
🥫 Non-perishable food
🔦 Flashlight and extra batteries
📻 Battery or hand-crank radio
🩹 First aid kit
💊 Prescription medications
🔋 Phone charger or power bank
📄 Copies of important documents
🐾 Supplies for your pets, if needed

Don't have a kit yet? You can build one yourself over time or purchase a pre-made emergency kit from many Canadian retailers and emergency preparedness suppliers.
