ARC participated in the WorkBC Fall Job Fair on September 29, sharing employment opportunities for support workers, kitchen crew, and other roles that help support our programs and services.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet us and learn about working at ARC! We truly appreciate the opportunity to hear about your interests and share how our team contributes to a welcoming, caring environment for the people we serve.

ARC residents and our Chaplain took part in The Salvation Army BC Division’s annual Men’s Camp at Camp Sunrise in beautiful Gibsons, BC!

We’re so grateful our ARC community had the opportunity to spend time together, connect with others, and make space for reflection and spiritual growth. Opportunities like these help nurture relationships and remind us of the joy of belonging to a caring community.

A special, heartfelt thank you to the generous donor who sponsored the men from ARC to attend camp. Your kindness made this opportunity possible, and we’re deeply grateful for your support.

Thank you also to the organizers and everyone who helped bring this gathering to life! We’re so happy to have been part of it. 😁

Time spent at Project Reconnect reminded us how meaningful it can be to come together in support of our community.

ARC is grateful to serve 360 warm meals, offering nourishment and opportunities to connect. While that number reflects the meals shared, it also reminds us why this work matters: everyone deserves access to basic needs and to be welcomed with dignity, respect, and care.

ARC left with a renewed appreciation for the collective effort that makes events like this possible. Thank you to the community members, volunteers, organizers, and partner organizations who helped create a space for connection and support. We’re grateful to be part of this work and look forward to continuing to serve our greater community.

We want to recognize the hurt that has been done and make the most of this opportunity to celebrate Indigenous cultures and traditions.
