🎉 That’s a wrap on another incredible school year! 🎉

Today marks the final day of the 2025–2026 school year at Lakewood Elementary! 📚☀️

As we head into summer, we’d like to wish all of our amazing students, dedicated staff, and wonderful families a safe, fun, and well-deserved break.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, supported PAC events, attended fundraisers, and helped make this year such a memorable one. Your time, generosity, and community spirit have made a real difference for our students.

To our Grade 5 students, congratulations and best of luck as you begin your next adventure in middle school! 🎓

Have a fantastic summer, make wonderful memories, and we’ll see everyone back in September!

🍕 Pizza Day has moved to accommodate June 18th Beach Day. ☀️
Pizza Day this week will be on Friday June 19th.

This is our FINAL PIZZA DAY of the school year

🍕 Pizza Day next week has moved to accommodate the June 18th Beach Day. ☀️
So for the week of June 15th Pizza Day will be on Friday June 19th.

This is our FINAL PIZZA DAY of the school year so if you want to submit an order the deadline is midnight on June 14th.

Lakewood Elementary PAC Needs You! 📣

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on Tuesday, June 9th from 6:30–7:30 PM, and we are looking for parents and caregivers interested in helping make the 2026–27 school year a success.

The PAC plays an important role in supporting our school community, from fundraising for classroom supplies and field trips, to organizing hot lunch and special events that make school memorable for our children.

💙 No experience needed
💙 Just a few hours a month can make a big impact
💙 Join in person at the school library or virtually via Zoom

We will also be reviewing vacant PAC volunteer positions for next year. Whether you’d like to take on a role or simply volunteer when you can, every bit of support helps keep our school community thriving.

Our Lakewood Elementary Spring Fair was a huge success and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our school community. 💙

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the amazing parent volunteers, staff, students, families, and community members who gave their time, energy, and support to help make this event so special. From set-up, games, food, ticket sales, clean-up, and everything in between, we truly couldn’t have done it without you!
