Today marks one year since we lost our dear friend and colleague, Erin Davis.
As we came to work this morning, our hearts were heavy as we reflected on Erin, the incredible person she was, and the impact she continues to have on our lives. We are especially thinking of her two boys, her family, and all those who loved her and miss her every day.
Then, in the midst of a difficult morning, we received a gift that brought both tears and smiles.
Brannen Lake RV Park & Campsite announced that 100% of this season’s visitor fees will be donated to the Victoria Disability Resource Centre in Erin’s memory.
Erin loved her family more than anything. She loved camping with her boys, and she was deeply passionate about making a difference in the community through her work. Knowing that a place connected to so many happy family memories has chosen to honour her in this way means more than we can adequately express.
The funds raised will help support the LEAD (Lived Experiences Around Disability) and Disability Inclusion & Awareness Training (DIAT) programs that Erin helped build and champion. Through these programs, her legacy continues to educate, inspire, and create a more inclusive community.
To the team at Brannen Lake RV Park & Campsite, and to every visitor whose stay will contribute to this donation, thank you. Your generosity is helping ensure that Erin’s work lives on.
We miss Erin every day. Today, we remember her with gratitude, love, and the promise to continue the work she cared about so deeply. ❤️

This organization was near and dear to the heart of a longtime camper. Erin loved her family endlessly, enjoyed camping with her boys, and was passionate about making a difference in the community through her work. During her time working with the Victoria disability resource center, she helped develop two impactful programs, Learned Experience Around Disability (LEAD) and Disability and Inclusion Training. While her memory and legacy lives on, we’d like to thank our visitors for helping support a program that has such a profound impact on the community. "
