BC Assessment develops and maintains real property assessments throughout BC, in addition to providing real property information. In compliance with the Assessment Act, BC Assessment produces property assessments based on market value of July 1 each year. This information provides taxing authorities with a tax base for community services. BC Assessment mails individual assessment notices each Janu

ary to all property owners in B.C. Property assessment information can also be found using the free Assessment Search function at https://www.bcassessment.ca/
