VISOA Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association VISOA is a non-profit society providing education, info and support to strata owners in BC, Canada. VISOA is an independent, non-profit society.

This year marks the 49th anniversary of the Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association. Formed in 1973, it is the longest-running society of its kind in Canada providing information, education and support. VISOA also plays a vital role representing the interests and concerns of strata owners, and working effectively with governments to facilitate improvements in legislation, policy and education.

VISOA hosts webinars, seminars and workshops on topics of interest to strata owners, councils and industry professionals. Other resources include our website which provides a wealth of information and resources. VISOA publishes a digital Bulletin four times per year packed with timely and informative articles. Members can access support from VISOA's Strata Support Team which answers over 1,000 questions per year. Contact the strata support team using the Contact Form on our website. VISOA is independent and supported solely by membership fees. Membership is open to any resident of British Columbia, strata corporations (such as condominiums, townhouses, bare land and commercial stratas), and businesses that provide goods and services to stratas. Our Story

This year marks the 47th anniversary of the Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association (VISOA), an independent, non-profit society that was formed in 1973 to provide information and assist British Columbians (strata lot owners or non-owners) and strata councils in the management of their strata corporations. VISOA is supported solely by membership fees. Membership is open to all BC residents as well as residential and commercial strata corporations that are registered with the Land Title & Survey Authority of BC. Our website provides extensive information and resources including FAQs and Bulletins which are published four times per year containing articles on topics of interest to stratas. VISOA also offers 7 publications available digitally or in print on topics ranging from Strata Insurance, Management of the Contingency Reserve Fund and Best Practices for Strata Treasurers. VISOA's Strata Support Team provides information based on years of experience handling over 1,000 questions from our members per year.
