The Costume Museum at Government House

The Costume Museum at Government House The Costume Museum showcases vintage attire, from Lieutenant Governors’ uniforms and Chatelaines? The Museum will be open this summer through September 3rd.

Parking and admission are free. Managed and staffed by volunteers of The Friends of Government House Gardens Society, a group of dedicated volunteers who maintain the beautiful gardens and whose efforts allow the Museum to be available for the enjoyment of the public.

Government House is open to the public via guided tours. Tours give a look into the residence of the Lieutenant Governor and the ceremonial home of all British Columbians, covering history, points of interest, and art and architecture. Tours are free but space is limited, and visitors must register in advance.

Tours will also be available on BC Day, Monday, August 4!
