All units are back in service following a brush fire response.

We would like to remind everyone, especially parents and children, about the importance of fire safety in wooded areas. Even a small fire can spread quickly and become dangerous, particularly during dry conditions.

Please talk with your children about the risks of playing with matches, lighters, fireworks, or starting campfires without proper supervision. Help them understand that fires in the woods can threaten people, wildlife, homes, and emergency responders.

If you see smoke, fire, or suspicious activity, report it immediately to emergency services.

Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and for helping keep our community safe.

☑️ Oxygen Administration
☑️ Spinal Motion Restriction
☑️ Trauma management
☑️ Childbirth

Thanks again to the members for giving up their weekend to take part in this necessary training. Special thanks to our instructor for putting off another successful course! 👏

Your yard is your first line of defense against wildland fires. 🍃

? A mowed lawn is a fire-resistant lawn. Grasses shorter than 10 centimetres in height are less likely to burn intensely and may slow the spread of fire.
