Oak Bay Firefighters We are 21 committed firefighters serving Oak Bay through our profession and volunteer work through the Oak Bay Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation.

Boots were on the ground this weekend as members of the Oak Bay Firefighters Charitable Foundation volunteered across multiple community events.

Crews spent time canvassing throughout Oak Bay for the Annual Muscular Dystrophy Boot Drive, continuing a long-standing tradition of supporting Muscular Dystrophy Canada and the families impacted by neuromuscular disorders.

At the same time, another team was out at CFB Esquimalt supporting Hoopfest, hosted by , helping promote adaptive sport, inclusion, and community connection through sport.

A huge thank you to all the members, volunteers, organizers, and residents who stopped to donate, support, and spend time with us throughout the weekend. Community support is what makes these events possible.

Last year, the Oak Bay Firefighters Charitable Foundation donated over $80,000 back into the community.

From family swim & skate events, to high school bursaries, youth sports clubs, and support for neonatal care, every ticket purchased, event attended, and dollar donated helped make a real impact right here at home.

This is what community looks like.

🔥 Things are starting to heat up.

The 2026 Mustang GT Premium Fastback is officially live and this thing looks right at home surrounded by smoke and sirens.

Tickets are available now across BC, with Early Bird prizes underway and the 50/50 continuing to climb daily.

One lucky person is going to end up with the keys to this beast — all while helping support the future renewal of Firefighters Park and a more accessible community space for families in Greater Victoria.

Tomorrow, departments from across the Capital Regional District will stand shoulder-to-shoulder to raise funds in support of Tumbler Ridge, helping families and responders during this difficult time.

🎄 Firefighter Tree Chipping Fundraiser – This Weekend 🎄

Bring your Christmas tree down and support a great local cause. This weekend, firefighters will be hosting a Tree Chipping Fundraiser at Firefighters Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

All funds raised go directly to the Oak Bay High School Bursary Program, helping support local students as they pursue post-secondary education.

A big thank you to Bartlett Tree Experts and Navacord for their generous sponsorship and support of this community event.
