🚰 Notice Rescinded – Watermain Repairs

The watermain repairs have been completed, and the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) for the affected areas has now been rescinded.

Residents in the 100 Block of Bagot Street and 100 Block of Bangor Avenue may resume normal water use.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these necessary repairs were completed.

🚰 Public Notice – Watermain Repairs

Please be advised that watermain repairs will be taking place on Wednesday, August 19th.

During the repairs, water service will be shut off to the following areas:

100 Block of Bagot Street
100 Block of Bangor Avenue

Once the repairs are completed, a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) will be in effect for the affected area until water testing has been completed and laboratory results confirm that the water is safe to drink.

Residents will be notified once the PDWA has been rescinded and normal water use can resume.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this necessary repair work is completed.

🚧 Notice – Hydrant & Valve Maintenance 🚧
For Wednesday August 11, 2026
Public Works crews will be exercising hydrants and valves tomorrow morning the following areas:
100 Block of Colborne Avenue
100 Block of Carlton Street
100 Block Durham Street
300 Block of Bangor Avenue
Residents in these areas may experience brief interruptions to water service or temporary water discoloration.
If you notice discoloured water, simply run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important maintenance to help ensure the reliability of our water distribution system.

🚨Reminder from the Village of Viscount 🚨

The recycling and compost sites are not your personal dump. Please stop leaving garbage, furniture, and other unwanted items at these locations.

If it's junk, be responsible and take it to the Transfer Station during regular operating hours:

🗓️ Tuesday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
🗓️ Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Let's use a little common sense and keep these sites clean for everyone who uses them properly. ♻️

Please do your part and dispose of your waste where it belongs. Thank you for your cooperation!
